Big-Name to Speak at TAGG Meeting
Fort Worth’s most influential - and very conservative - councilman, “Landslide” Clyde Picht — will be speaking at next Tuesday’s Taxpayers Alliance for Good Government meeting.
Waxahachie Civic Center

Picht is one of several invited speakers, but the first to confirm. He will discuss fighting against wasteful spending and higher taxation. He’s fought against this repeatedly while on the city council. He’s nicknamed “Landslide” Clyde due to his massive margins of victory over his challengers.
Farmers Branch City Councilman Tim O’Hare has been invited as well, but no confirmation as of yet on that one; same with Dallas City Councilman Mitchell Rasansky - the most conservative vote on that city’s council. A representative from the Friends of Ellis County PAC should be on hand to discuss the $53 million county facilities bond, barring any last-minute change of schedules.
