Ian Perry, son of former Justice of the Peace Paul Perry, had a letter in The Ellis County Press last week about those Ron Paul yard signs in and around Ellis County:
Presidential race signs spotted
Recently, while driving into Waxahachie, I saw my first campaign sign for this election cycle.
I don’t know who put it out, but it was encouraging to see that the sign was for none other than Texas Rep. Ron Paul. Ron Paul has never voted to raise taxes, is pro-life (and introduced a bill which would have removed abortion from the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court, allowing states to outlaw the barbaric procedure).
Ron Paul is also a noted defender of freedom of speech and civil liberties. Additionally, over the last quarter Ron Paul raised more money than any declared GOP candidate, excepting the less than conservative “Rudy McRomney” trio.
It is nice to be reminded that we don’t have to vote for an anti-conservative like Giuliani or for someone who appears more of mixed bag, like Thompson. Kudos to whoever put the sign up for helping to spread the word about Congress’s staunchest supporter of limited government.

Ian, I have access to more if you need them ![]()
The shipment of 4×8s is about to be unloaded in Ellis County, right along I-35. Those should look nice…

I have much respect for Ron Paul. He seems to be the only politician on the federal level that actually walks the talk.
