ECO Radio - Reschedule

I forgot there was a retarded Cowboys football game on tonight. So we’ll reschedule the ECO Radio show for next week.

Seriously, I’d much rather lower taxes, cut spending and talk politics than saturate myself in constant sports-retardedness.

But maybe that’s just me.  Speaking of, go Red Oak Hawks! They play West Mesquite Saturday night in Texas Stadium. Sports isn’t bad per se, just the saturation of it…

    At my age I am having trouble keeping up with the current “word du jour” that is no longer acceptable, because someone, somewhere, at sometime decided it was.

    Retard- from the latin retardare- meaning to delay (re + tardare). The game was supposed to start at 7. Kickoff was delayed to 7:15.

    Also meaning “foolish or socially inept”. Seems to fit pro sports to a “T”.

    Someone is going to spend a bunch of money politically correcting the word in centuries of sheet music also…as in retard- slackening of tempo.

    So see? Now ECO Radio has been retarded…which I am sure will offend some, excite some, and just not matter to some.

    What’s the difference in a major and minor bitch?

    I have an Airedale Terrier bitch and she’s pretty large. Does that make her a major or minor bitch?

    Since my wife’s post menopausal and subject to major mood swings, no more sex, ad nauseum, does that make her a…nah I won’t write it…she’s just post menopausal and I’m just a fat middled aged man. Quit looking at my gut…I’m working on it!

    My boss is quite demanding and is technology challenged most of the time. She can go off on my Tech department. Does that make her major or minor? You make the call!
