Midlothian Councilman Ken Chambers said he gets no help from Mirror editor Floyd Ingram; such is the case in the Jan. 23 issue on the front page. There was a story and photo of the groundbreaking of a new fire station. In the piece, Ingram lumps protesters in with Chambers; see, the protesters are calling foul over materials used to build the fire station even though the zoning regulations in the Mt. Peak area call for homeowners to have a certain masonry on their homes.
Chambers reiterated that he supports the fire station, but due to the materials issue, he could not “in good conscience” pick up one of the shovels to help “break ground.”
“Floyd Ingram is a one-sided reporter who only [writes] what his respective group tells him to write,” Chambers said.
Ingram also has a violent streak, having been arrested several years ago for assault family-violence; shouting “Joey Dauben, eat shit!” in the courthouse on Nov. 6 of last year; assaulting a former Ellis County Press reporter in 2006; and more recently, he was accused of deliberately trying to run down a handicapped person.

could have been worse. He could have committed adultry then bragged about it; published porn on an internet site; spewed anti-Christian retoric, and took public funds to attend college when he said he’d never do that.

So it’s deplorable to disagree with Christianity?

quid pro quo
The Mirror brought us front page news about possible charges against Ken Chambers. When was that? What happened to the charges?
Has a key witness kept herself busy writing editorials in local papers?
Is the charge as petty , as the term, b/f, offending someone ?
Is the relationship between witness and accuser quid pro quo ?
Such action should merit a call for all involved to resign.
