The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office sources that I have now allege that the incident report identifying Don Hellstern (husband of assistant prosecutor Cindy Hellstern) in his Dodge Intrepid in 2006 masturbating was hand delivered to County/District Attorney Joe Grubbs himself.
Grubbs was reportedly called down to the ECSO in front of “four to five” witnesses - including supposedly Hellstern herself - who saw the report handed directly to him.
