Here’s hoping that the Waxahachie City Council throws out city Judge Sylvia Lopez-Beaver tonight.
Every major official in the city goes through a “performance evaluation” but the odds of this being the day right after Paul Perry’s excellent piece in yesterday’s Daily Light on her excessive bond amounts kinda strikes me as more than coincidental.
Lord knows there’s enough dirt on Beaver to last a lifetime.
I will say this for Beaver, though. Her KBEC daughter is pretty darn attractive.

Well I don’t think Mike Roberts would go for Joey or vise versa

Ok…has anyone seen “da’ Beaver”?
Is she still there or not? I don’t frequent the court system as a customer or visitor so pardon my curiousity.

I find it odd….the City of Waxahachie has a commercial website whereas all other cities and municipalities in TX have a state website with a .tx.st address. What is the explanation of this?
Also, how does Judge Beaver get away with time serving traffic warrants to Hispanics who don’t pay taxes, while the Caucasian and African American tax paying citizens of Waxahachie have to fork out thousands of dollars or sit in jail to cover their traffic violations! Justice is supposed to be equal for all seems as though in this particular scenario, the judge is playing favorites to her native culture, if she feels that strong about the Hispanic culture we should ship her to Mexico! How does one who doesn’t have a degree in law but yet is a teacher with a bad influence on our cities youth, poor family values & morals, and a swept under the rug federal drug case against one of her daughters become a judge and stay one in the first place?
