Jennifer Salinas, one of The Ellis County Press reporters I recruited, was “jumped” over the weekend. She was hanging out at The New West, a club/bar on Northwest Highway when she was approached from behind and shoved. Then two others jumped in.

Salinas was the one thrown out and the club kept her belongings.
I take this stuff very seriously. Jennifer has  done some good legwork on  some of the  Joe Grubbs stories.
