Oh today was a great day in the Adventures of Joey Dauben.
Problem is, the kid in a silver Crossfire that slammed the brakes and flipped me off as I tried to pass him on Ovilla Road now will have to face public opinion, as I now have a “dashboard” camera footage of this little episode.
Wait until that video hits YouTube. It’s hilarious, actually. This kid in a silver Crossfire slams on the brake pedal as I attempt to pass him on Ovilla Road; we then follow him into the Ovilla Oaks subdivision — camera rolling — (and yes, a few choice cusswords are uttered and yelled) — where he again slams the brakes in an attempt to get me to hit his car; we follow him to his house on/at 602 Cedar Ridge. He comes out the front door with his mom and then proceeds to flip me off again.
I was laughing almost the whole time.
But I will say this: that silver Crossfire will look good on YouTube.

It wasn’t actually a “dashboard” camera. I pulled the Sony Handycam out of the glove box and was holding it while driving.
In fact, I didn’t remember the license plate number but when I replayed the video to the Ovilla police, I read the LP number out loud, so the officer immediately wrote it down.
That’s called evidence. I don’t care if people are “scared” or not. When they deliberately slam the brakes in front of you, there’s no other way to solve this except going to the police.
But I wasn’t just about to dick around. I wanted that kid’s license plate number.

Anti-Joey, what are you really afraid of? Sounds like you have some ghosts in your closet. Have you ever met Joey? I don’t it, on the surface, he is anything other than mean or evil looking. Apparently you are about the age of a teenager that listens to anything in your ear and bam! It become truth or you are just plain stupid. I seldom say such as that, but you just sound too young and too informed, or misinformed to know much of anything! Maybe, you need a job.

Drtuddle, I consider myself to be fairly knowledgeable about politics within Ellis County. I have lived here most of my life and am know many people Joey rants about personally. I know the inner workings of many of the county departments. And, what does my knowledge of Ellis County politics have to do with my opinion of Joey?
