This should prove very valuable.
And while my organization (Taxpayers Alliance for Good Government) endorsed Constable Steve McKinney in the race for sheriff, anything I say, print or publish should not be construed as a personal-anything on Johnny Brown, whom I still consider a friend (though his supporters might say otherwise).
The mail-piece I received today states Brown has been endorsed by the:
Glenn Heights Police Officer’s Association
Red Oak Police Officer’s Association
Ennis Fire Fighter’s Association
Ellis County Sheriff’s Association
Question is: Who is Sheriff Ray Stewart supporting? Based off what’s being spread around the ECSO, James Ledbetter has Stewart’s support. And based off the Joe Grubbs mailer today, Stewart is supporting our incumbent county/district attorney.
Will endorsements matter in the long run?
We’ll find out March 4.

Endorisments are great, I say if you have to have a co-signer that means your credit is bad. Johnny Brown’s credit and word is good. Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come for everybody to shut up and vote! May the best candidate win. I pray a week from today we can all get behind the new Sheriff and come back together.
February 26, 2008 at 2:13 pm
Well, you certainly aren’t shutting up! Why don’t you quit telling everyone else too. And, Brown has NO credit.
February 26, 2008 at 2:21 pm
I did my duty! I have voted, have you? My point was you and the others who have done all of the petty bickering over the last couple of months now need to go vote and put your money where your mouth is.
I also said it is our duty to come back together behind whomever the majority votes as sheriff and work to move forward dispite our differences. Is that too complicated for you to understand?
Brown’s word and credit is good. I know him well!
February 26, 2008 at 2:56 pm
To OMG, Why yes I have. What I was saying to you is that you were being so blunt by telling everybody to shut up but you kept wanting to have your say that it was a turn off. This is a forum for everybody. And, you have to admit, you have quite blunt with the shut up and shut your pie holes, etc… I know you don’t agree, and that is your right but there are a lot of us out here that know that Mr. Brown and his supporters are doing very underhanded, sneaky things. I find him to be completely untrustworthy. I also encourage everyone to vote! It’s important
February 26, 2008 at 3:10 pm
I told those who claim to be fellow officers of the law to start acting like the professionals they claim to be. I have spent over twenty years working every day to be the best I can be and to serve people in need. It is a slap to others when these officers who don’t care or just don’t know any better air out their dirty laundry in a public forum. I welcome a debate, when I said “shut your pie hole” I was speaking to those who are making the profession look bad. If the public doesn’t think much of the police, and that will be the end result, we will have a much larger problem than who the next sheriff will be! Was it blunt? Hell yes it was! I meant for it to be too. The best advice I have for you is if the shoe fits wear it.
Mr. Brown is a good man and will be your next sheriff, you are just worried that you will not “get yours”. Anybody with any sense can see right through your smoke screen. Keep up the underhanded and sneaky talk that will not help anybody but the one you are trying to pin it on. Don’t you see, people don’t like that stuff?
February 26, 2008 at 3:24 pm
Yes, I see it, but obviously you don’t. And, you are probably worried about your job when Brown is not elected. You should also know that perception is reality and if you meant to say if the shoe fits wear it - then say that. Facts are facts and you can’t get around it. Mr. Brown is just not qualified to be the next Sheriff. The people of Ellis County love their law enforcement officers and show it in many ways. The way police, deputies, and troopers carry themselves in public has a great effect on that. Not some “no name” blog.
February 26, 2008 at 3:48 pm
“It is a slap to others when these officers who don’t care or just don’t know any better air out their dirty laundry in a public forum.”
What is so bad about police officers airing their “dirty laundry” in a public forum?
February 26, 2008 at 4:54 pm
Do you want to respond to a domestic disturbance and try and restore order and peace where the person you are there to help just read a negative entry on a blog on you or your department that morning, where you were arguing like a bunch of 3 year olds??
It is called professional standards, ECSO nees lots of it. By the way I don’t work there.
February 26, 2008 at 5:03 pm
I do believe that there are people that keep arguing petty things over this particular subject in order to get the subject of Joe Grubbs off the blog. Interesting tactic but I do not believe it will work. The sh_t has already hit the fan.
February 26, 2008 at 6:41 pm
what’s going on, I totally agree with you but “omg” is a bog ol crybaby brownie…he can’t stand it when the truth is told about his daddy brownie….they don’t want to face the facts that his little crew are some of the dirtiest underhanded dope cops to ever hit Ellis County and it’s time for a new philosophy around here which means we need to clear them out and get a new bunch…
I can’t speak for the other associations but the ELLIS COUNTY Sheriff’s Association did not vote to endorse BROWN, the PAC which was appointed by Brownie flamer Westmoreland set that all up and got his daddy endorsed by him and 2 other Brownies…The endorsement is not legit, the members never got a vote or a say in that endorsement….From what I hear, Ennis Firefighters got lied to and are pissed about their so called endorsement as well so take these endorsements with a grain of salt….
omg, give it a rest…what’s wrong with people forming an opinion and voicing it, nothing….so go back to your nap…
Vote for Ledbetter or McKinney, at least they bopth have the experience needed to run this department…there is nothing wrong with the troops, they will continue to get the job done…
February 26, 2008 at 7:00 pm
Ladies and gentlemen… I rest my case….
Thanks Bill, you made my point for me.
A wise man once said “Never argue with an idiot, they will get you on their level and beat you at their own game”…. Bill I will not argue with you, you sir….. are an idiot! I bet you aren’t even registered to vote anyway.
Once again…. I DO NOT WORK FOR ELLIS COUNTY . I just live here and raise my children here, thats why I am for Johnny Brown.
February 26, 2008 at 7:06 pm
Amen Mr. Johnson!! You hit the nail on the head. Johnny and his followers need to get a life! Johnny doesn’t even have but maybe 15 years law enforcement experiance. Do your research guys. He has also been ask to leave law enforcement positions / agency’s. He also loves to lay blame on everyone else instead of standing up like a man and taking ownership for his actions.
Johnny is a lier! Fact Jack!! I have been at his hands of that.
You can’t always believe what you read or what your told.
February 26, 2008 at 8:54 pm
omg, at least I show to have a name..The point is that your brownies are dirty and will not win this election, there are plenty of intelligent people in this county who can see through their dirty tactics…When a question gets asked such as whether these endorsements are important and people begin to chime in with their opinions, you call them idiots because their opinions don’t match you or your brownies….BOTTOM line is the ECSOA or it’s members never got the opportunity to vote or voice their opinions regarding this election and who they would like to endorse.
Once again, OMG, this is a public blog where people voice their feelings, thoughts, rumors, whatever they please so why do you have such a problem with people voicing theirs??? You and your crybaby brownies need to get over it, your lil scam will be over in ……6 days…enjoy it while it lasts.
Why do you have to continue saying that you don’t work for Ellis County, who cares buddy??? This is a free country, don’t be afraid to voice your feelings…
I’m glad you voted, just sorry it’s for the wrong guy..
February 26, 2008 at 10:18 pm
I’m STILL waiting for someone to tell me what agencies Johnny Brown has been asked to leave or “fired” from….
Also “whats going on” how in the HELL do you know that Johnny Brown has “no credit” as you said? Seriously, someone needs to think before they speak. That was about one of the dumbest comments to EVER come out of someones mouth. lmmfao that makes me laugh.
February 26, 2008 at 10:50 pm
what does lmmfao mean teacher? You are the one supporting Brown, guess you should have done a little homework before you jumped on board…call the state, they’ll give it to you….
don’t start worrying now, it’s too late to worry now since I know you already voted for the brownie troop…6 days….seriously…
February 27, 2008 at 5:34 am
Bill Johnson = Clint Tims
And by the way,
Ledbetter is still a Democrat.
Thanks.
Vote Republican!
February 27, 2008 at 5:51 am
geesh, I really feel sorry for McKinney if this is the best crew he coils put together. You guys are pathetic!
February 27, 2008 at 6:27 am
And Bill lmmfao is an acronym. It stands for laughing my mother ******* *** off. If you cant figure out what it means from this, you really do need help. And by the way, is the wifes probation up yet on that theft charge? You know everything she touches sticks to her hands.
Just like a Democrat, rob Peter to pay Paul. ‘cept in this case it was to buy ur groceries…..
February 27, 2008 at 6:43 am
haha you dope cops are funny….i guess you must have read my comments on the WDL detailing your little charades…hmmm much have touched a nerve….you don’t like it that I’m right and once again you’re wrong…hahaha here ya go…lmmfao….
that’s really nice acronyms coming from your little teacher wife…I KNOW that you’re a DOPE COP but not sure whether you’re James Saulter- Mr. Johnson County or Zurfas but I know I am close….your days are numbered….I guess the pressure must be getting to you guys huh??? lashing out at everyone on both sites….can’t be good for the heart, some of you guys are out of shape so be careful with the hearts….
February 27, 2008 at 6:49 am
ha ha, probation aye? Daym!
A criminal throwing stones, go figure!
February 27, 2008 at 6:52 am
BTW, is that all you can come up with cause that’s old news unrelated to the election….nothing good to say about your candidate again and only lashing out at members of the other candidates groups.
How does it feel to have burnt all of your bridges and the fact that you have nowhere to go but down???
You guys are trash and have lost all respect within the ranks, good luck moving on!!! WE don’t need your kind around here so I can understand the desperation in hoping that your brownie will win but he doesn’t stand a chance against Steve or James….I would say that you are within days of crashing back to reality!!! Godspeed
February 27, 2008 at 6:55 am
whats wrong with being a criminal, look at me I have gone far. I stole cars and made chief of desoto.
My wife is in the pen for stealing large sums of money from her job, at the bank!
I coerced old people on their death bed to give me what they have left.
You say crime doesn’t pay? Does me well
February 27, 2008 at 7:00 am
LOL then he admits it, can you say no credibility….. Geesh
February 27, 2008 at 7:10 am
The sheriff’s election is a tempest in a teapot. It’s boring to the extreme, the results have little impact upon normal (non-criminal types) people on a daily basis.
All this sludge has been rather funny to read at times but methinks the basic function of the Sheriff’s Department is to enforce the law, enforce the actions/mandates of the County Commissioners and support-assist local law enforcement entities when called upon. The rest of all this is ancillary BS.
Vote your choice on March 4! It really doesn’t matter whom is elected. The proof’s in the pudding and we’ll see who is effective or needs replacement in the next term. It’s sorta’ how things work in the electoral process right?
February 27, 2008 at 7:21 am
re:bill johnson
Mr Bill if Brown is so coorupt why didn’t or don’t you report it to the papers or authorities instead of standing by like a coward? You said “they don’t want to face the facts that his little crew are some of the dirtiest underhanded dope cops to ever hit Ellis County” If your gonna try to slander someone back it up with facts. I’ve talked to a lot of people about Mr Brown and the word “corruption” has never come up. Now maybe your a Democrat and you want to vote for Ledbetter but that’s the only reason I can see for anyone not to vote for Johnny Brown.
February 27, 2008 at 7:24 am
I can say no credibility and that is directed at your entire division….
Oh so now ur buddy cue ball steps in with the big words but hey that’s all good…bring them to the party…
The games are almost over and time will tell….you guys ask about probation but I notice ur guy dropped the topic of his military service, why? Just a little nugget for you…because the other camps don’t have to sling mud even though we have it…We’ve chosen the higher road and don’t have to operate out of the gutters….People who are in the know what your group is all about….man I smell something….must be those bridges you guys have torched….”what can brown do for you? hmmmm nothing…he can help you pack up your offices….
February 27, 2008 at 7:38 am
JustAGirl,
A reliable person told me Roy Vaughn asked Brown to leave. He’s currently the Municipal Judge for the City of Midlothian but was the police chief at the time.
February 27, 2008 at 7:48 am
Bill Johnson,
Cut the brownies (drug cops) some slack, they are fighting for their jobs. They know all the dirty tricks and lies they have pulled during this election. Steve and James know it too. That’s why when either Steve or James is elected they are GONE. A good house cleaning is in order.
February 27, 2008 at 7:52 am
Once again I do not work for the ECSO.
Brown will work for us that is why he will have the popular vote.
February 27, 2008 at 8:35 am
“they don’t want to face the facts that his little crew are some of the dirtiest underhanded dope cops to ever hit Ellis County”
Bill Johnson / Clint Tims / whomever: You have made a public accusation of criminal activity. One would think you wouldn’t make a statement like that without proof, as you wouldn’t want to be sued for defamation.
Since you have proof, as a peace officer, why have you not arrested these people?
February 27, 2008 at 9:40 am
“Do you want to respond to a domestic disturbance and try and restore order and peace where the person you are there to help just read a negative entry on a blog on you or your department that morning, where you were arguing like a bunch of 3 year olds??”
quote from OMG
Suffice to say I’ve been to a few domestics in my day (more than a few) and I’ve never encountered a negative reaction because of what someone may have read on a blog or heard about the department. When the cops show up to a domestic it’s because someone called them, and that caller, at that time, couldn’t care less about the internal politics of the department they summon for help.
Police departments and individual officers lose credibility when they lie to the public and HIDE their dirty laundry.
Any police department is government, and government should be accountable to the people it serves.
February 27, 2008 at 10:20 am
To OMG and Just A Girl… why don’t you spend some time doing some real research instead of getting on this blog and telling people what to do and calling them names. And, you wonder why people think what they do of Mr. Brown. It’s because of supporters like you. Taking the high road is always the best bet. But, I don’t think you know what that is or how to do it.
February 27, 2008 at 11:13 am
Whats going on……..I just went back and read the posting on this particular blog, and apparently you need to go back and learn how to read. I have NOT called ANYONE names.
All of you Ledbetter & McKinney supporters have done as much mudslinging as well.
I have the right to call people immature when there on here talking about crap they have absolutely NO clue about. So if you consider THAT calling people names, maybe you need to toughen up a little.
February 27, 2008 at 11:25 am
looks like he got his little feelings hurt… awwww
February 27, 2008 at 11:52 am
Whatever you think… moving on now…I’d rather talk to the wall. I feel sorry for you both. You make me smile…just a bit!
February 27, 2008 at 12:09 pm
The board members (Westmoreland, Callender, Zurfas and Brown) who represent the Ellis County Sheriff’s Association should be ashamed of themselves. Theyworked and manipulated the system within the association for their personal agenda. They mislead and lied to the citizens and voters of Ellis County. They originally made us think the Ellis County Sheriff’s Association unanimously endorsed Brown when in fact it was just the four or five on the committee. They did not allow or grant the members of the association the opportunity or right to cast their vote. This is disgraceful behavior from a board that is in power to represent the membership of the association. I understand your commitment to Brown, since Westmoreland is an ex-drug officer and Callender/Zurfas are currently drug officers, but wrong is wrong. The membership of the association should show their lack of confidence and trust in the board by demanding the board’s immediate resignation. This is a shinning example of Browns character since he was aware of this scam and uses it to his benefit. I must tell you as a law enforcement officer in this county, I am very disappointed in the board. Cast a personal vote for Brown, but please don’t lie to your members and the citizens who place trust in you. The first few blocks in the foundation of law enforcement is Truthfulness, Integrity, Honor, Loyalty and Courage. My brothers somewhere along the way things have become cloudy for you.
February 27, 2008 at 12:58 pm
likewise
February 27, 2008 at 3:34 pm
Joey can you get to the bottom of the Sheriff’s Association endorsement debacle?
I’m assuming the Glenn Heights Police Officer’s Association,Red Oak Police Officer’s Association,Ennis Fire Fighter’s Association are genuine endorsements?
February 27, 2008 at 4:32 pm
I say until these people identify themselves, then there is no controversy or debacle. You got some crybabies on here from the other camps. What you will find is that the ones crying the loudest aint even members of the association.
February 28, 2008 at 12:05 am
I am not the one. The fact is you and your crowd is not going to win and you can’t stand it.
February 28, 2008 at 12:51 am
MrKnowItALl and OMG,
Check out the Waxahachie daily light on line. Jason Westmoreland admits the vote was with the PAC board, which is four or five officer of the drug unit. Not the membership of the sheriff’s association. That my friend is trying to run a scam on the voters and misleading them with false information. It’s the Brownies at their best…..
February 28, 2008 at 1:39 am
Well people if you do not already know this, Here it is: James Ledbetter is a fence jumper. He ran as a Dem the last two times and could not win the election, So he jumped the fence to the Republicin side. That makes him lose my vote!!!
If a mut jumps the fence and goes after your prized dog, What do u do you shot it with the BB gun or throw water on it and call the pound!!!!
Well James is like the mut (Dem) The prized dog is the republicin
February 28, 2008 at 5:30 am
well said big john.
bill johnson is one of those whiners that I bet aint even a member. like i said, guilty dog hollers the loudest.
what a moron
February 28, 2008 at 7:16 am
mrknowitall and bigjohn are brownie dope cops and are trying to fade the heat from their daddy Brown because he took and ran with the Ellis County SOA when it was not a legit endorsement…Brown knew it was not legit and took it happily because he thinks it was important, it’s backfired on them….Shows again that he and his boys will do anything to get elected….vote against Brown…
February 28, 2008 at 8:12 am
I guesss you can’t read, that is not what was said. Why don’t you just accept defeat.
February 28, 2008 at 8:33 am
poor omg… maybe you can read, but your grammar is terrible. And, I think you will probably be the one who is sad after the votes are counted.
February 28, 2008 at 10:25 am
typo… pardon me
You are right, it must be like a slow death to you guys!
February 28, 2008 at 12:09 pm
Itsallgood, after speaking with Roy Vaughn this morning, he in fact DID NOT ask Brown to resign. So, once again it was just RUMORS that people are enjoying spreading.
February 28, 2008 at 12:43 pm
You know, Brown’s people believe in him and I respect that. Even when the truth comes out about him, they will deny it and blame it on someone else. They will be bitter, act out, and say ugly things. But, the truth is, their candidate is skirting the truth as with the ECSOA, and they will never, ever believe it. I actually heard it from his mouth. And, that stuff about him talking with anyone who wants to call him is just baloney! If you disagree or ask him a specific question, he will tell you that you are arguing with him and to call one his people to get an explanation. I still respect their right to vote for him. That’s what America is all about. The dishonesty is what I deplore. And, folks, that’s what Johnny Brown represents.
February 28, 2008 at 2:04 pm
Did you ever notice when these rumormongers get caught in a big gossipy whopper of a lie that they just move on in to some more smoke and mirrors…. you guys have tried and tried to start up crap on Johnny Brown to the point you have lost your credibility with the people.
Be a good looser guys, Brown has this thing whooped. Stop the little nanny nanny booh booh stuff and get over it.
February 28, 2008 at 2:24 pm
Today, I was reading some of the Letters to the Editor on the Waxahachie Daily Light. I came across a VERY interesting letter someone had wrote on behalf of Steve McKinney. Close to the end of the letter, and I also verified it on his personal webpage, it stated that Steve McKinney was the FOUNDER & President of the Ellis County Baby Moses Project. President he may be, FOUNDER ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I remember back in 2001 when it became a legislation in Texas. Just to double check myself, I researched even further, and found some more information. Lt John Rodgers stated that they have ALWAYS been doing the Baby Moses Program, THEY JUST NEEDED SOME SIGNS. He then contacted Steve McKinney, who will be in charge of the Safe Haven Program in Ellis County.
Granted, this is not something to blow WAY out of proportion, I just think its VERY dishonest for someone to try and take credit for “founding” something that they in fact were not the FOUNDER of.
Does this mean that if Steve McKinney is to be elected Sheriff, and another employee does something great, that hes going to try and take all the credit for it? Elect someone that is TRUTHFUL and HONEST, and will do GOOD for Ellis County.
February 28, 2008 at 2:37 pm
OMG - who are you and you can tell that you are a brown supporter by your words. Just down right weird. I wonder how you will be when you guy doesn’t “whoop” this thing. Look for some truth’s about your dude in tomorrow’s paper. Not rumors, the truth. How about explaining the Ellis County Sheriff’’s Officers Association and the Political Action Committee endorsement debacle? Can you? Will you? I doubt it. The person who wrote before must have got you going but made me wonder…you are acting just like they said. The ball is in your court to answer the question. Bet you don’t…
February 28, 2008 at 2:54 pm
The top brownie can’t explain it away this time and he can’t answer your questions because he doesn’t have the answers…His boys screwed the ECSOA by not giving them a voice in this endorsement debacle and he knew what they were doing ahead of time and still accepted the endorsement….HE cannot explain that one away because it is in black and white form Brown all the way down to his wannabe political guru Westmoreland….their time is up…5 days left ….his mail outs claim the association endorsed him when all along it was this PAC set up by Jason and his 2 goons…they endorsed him not the others…there is no driving around that one…..they will never answer your questions because they know that they are caught….
February 28, 2008 at 2:55 pm
The bickering among you guys is excrutiating. I hope these three men are more intelligent than the people who continue to post here. All of these posts make all three of these persons sound incapable of doing a job honestly. Get the candidates to post for themselves. You can’t be helping their cause.
February 28, 2008 at 3:21 pm
Then don’t read them Mr. anonymous. This is our right to freedom of speech. Silly person…
February 28, 2008 at 5:00 pm
In response to #25, I can assure you that their actions have been reported to their superior officers. However, those complainants for some odd reason stop at their Chief Deputy, a dope cop too, who lies and covers for them to no end (do you dope cops remember the sparky hernandez cover up, but thats all I’ll say on that one, becasue it was reported to your superiors as well, us peons did our ethical part). The Sheriff knows about that one and tried to intervene, but Sullins and Hale even went over his head to the district attorney. No action has been taken to this date for their wrongdoing and dont expect any either.
February 29, 2008 at 12:15 am
minime
I don’t even work for the ECSO, Its a shame that your pinning my comment on someone else!!!! Put as I said once before: once you have a dog jumping the fence they will always be a fence jumper !!!
February 29, 2008 at 6:24 am
big john, how bout jumping off a ledge or something…i been in this race from the get go…just because you want to chime in at the last minute gives you little credibility….must be a brownie…
you can pull my comments from day ONE, I been busting the Brown camp since then so let me work this one out for you since you seem to be having a hard time with it….OK obviously I am anti Brown based on many reasons but there are a few on this thread…do some reading, I’m not alone…
I voted for James Ledbetter and have supported him from DAY ONE, no fences baby….if he doesn’t win, I would gladly accept Steve as the winner….no fence jumping there just common sense…SO…I’m saying as a taxpayer in Ellis County I am rooting for either one of them because they will do a great job…and their supporters haven’t tried to screw over each other during this election…they also didn’t accept any fake endorsements and run straight to the print shop when thy knew all about it…it’s only one thing that they have done and got away with but this one they got busted on it and the masses know about it…guess you could say your DOG got bit on the butt by mine since you love dogs….ruff ruff
oh yea, there are still no answers to the questions above, we still only have Brownies on here trying to throw down cover smoke…not working but hey 4 more days until those sign elves can start picking them all up…
February 29, 2008 at 6:50 am
If all the differences between these guys is their sign elves, I’m writing Meissner in at the voting booth. Y’all are pathetic. Show me some differences in the candidates other than one or the other is good guy. What can they possibly DO that will affect me as a normal “joe schmoe”, law abiding citizen of Ellis county? I’m quite demotivated to vote this year anyway because of the national election. The local elections are yawners. Any help on this would be appreciated but don’t feed me the line that one guy’s a dweeb, the other is a loser, another is crooked, whatever. That’s patently BS!
February 29, 2008 at 7:20 am
8ball, are you incapable of adding anything of value to a conversation? I doubt it because I have yet to see it after all this time…anyways it has been pointed out before many times, IF you don’t like what’s being said, MOVE ON damn….Find another blog….you are sickening….we know you’re in love with Brown but hell give it a rest….he’s going down and you guys can’t cover this stuff up….read the comments and form your own opinion…i’d prefer you just to move on and take your BS with you….8ball cornerpocket…you lose….
February 29, 2008 at 7:24 am
re:”I’m writing Meissner in at the voting booth.”
You need some mental help
February 29, 2008 at 10:01 am
I luv you CueBall. I don’t know Brown from Red from McKinney or any of these guys, I’m not a cop (far from it) and frankly you response is atypical. Spell assume and you’ll get the gist…or not.
No, I won’t “move on” to another blog because you think I’m sickening. It’s worth the price of admission (nothing) just to see you virtually squirm.
I haven’t made up my mind but will, the comment about Messiner was just a poke in the ribs. Don’t be so thin skinned Cueball
Again, nothing I’ve read here has moved me one way or another to a choice of candidates.
Eightball side pocket? Game over? Nah, I’m just getting started.
February 29, 2008 at 10:03 am
re:”I’m writing Meissner in at the voting booth.”
You need some mental help
Hey Doc…it was all in jest! Geez..y’all lighten up
February 29, 2008 at 11:23 am
Why are you using eightball as an alias when your picture shows you as being ALAN HUGHLEY, aren’t you from Red Oak??? You had a story didn’t you? Is this why you have such an attitude, did somebody kick your rear at the playground? Get over it…you scratched, you lose…..
February 29, 2008 at 11:39 am
8ball, you are currently the mayor of Red Oak, right….you need to get off the blog and get to work…..you have no time to be bullcorning on this website….surely you have got to have something better to do than this….don’t worry about me, I’m not in a paid political position…..but hey you are…
uhhhhhhh, your little avatar has your name on it so you may want to fix that before everyone starts pointing out your little trials and tribulations….let’s try again, 8ball corner pocket, no scratch…I WIN…how u doin???

A paid political position? This is getting better and better…sooner or later I’ll be the President of the United States. Keep it up Cue, your fishing expeditions are laughable and almost of the same caliber (not quite up to his standards) as Homer Fincannon.
Have a great rest of the day…oh BTW…I’m really Ben Goodwyn

I will vouch for eightball on this one and will say that he is absolutely not the mayor of Red Oak.
I know who eightball is, and it’s not him.

I am the real William (Mike ) Brodnax. Someone is imitating me and whoever has been wrinting in this blog is a fraud. (I most likely know who it is and he has a fetish for white feathers)This is the first time I have ever signed onto this blog and it will also be the last. It is most likely one of my ex-police officers with severe mental incompacities. I apologize for the comments. I will only say that I have been in law enforcment for 31 years and love my job. (I am not married) I am a strong conservative with many political views but I will never give my comments about my views in a blog. Any future comments made by someone with my name will not be me but rather a mentally unstable fraud.
Thank you

It doesn’t really matter who you are really 8ball, I just know your avatar has Hugley on it…I could care less really…I am glad to hear that wasn’t the real chief Broadnax though, I was concerned….

Now that the ball’s have had their lovefest. I’ve been evaluated to the standard bearer of the poking wasps nests blogmachine. Hard to believe last week you’d think both of us could had set on the curb ,dangle our legs and still not touch the gutter. Pretty low down,”Be nice to people on your way up because you meet them on your way.” Say, what happen to picture I submitted ? When you finish using it at the pool hall ,with all the balls , probable as a dart target send it over to the Joeyman. The only way I can keep up with the “8-ball.

Homer, you can have winner!!! Are you talking about his Hugley pic?
March 1, 2008 at 7:27 pm
I wanted a Todd LIttle pic (can you help me on that one Joey?) but that would have started a major excrement storm of biblical proportions so I settled on Hugley instead. i’ll change it to Alfred E. Neuman or GW Bush and see what happens then.
Damn…I shoulda’ asked Homer for HIS picture or
March 1, 2008 at 7:30 pm
oops had fat fingers…Barack Obama’s but I’d get chastized, racked up, spit out by all the folks claiming racism or something stupid like that. I’d just settle for Todd LIttle’s pic.

Question, Why voters should pick Homer ? As the challenger unless people think their current situation is perfect then voting the incumbent out of office should always be a viable option. People demand change and progress in every aspect of life except government. In government we all seem dangerously to just let sleeping dogs lie even if it does inconvenience us. The local DPS may have outdated computers, lines that last hours and an odd odor, but things are as they are and no one seems to care enough to do anything. Well I do plan to do something; to instigate change in some way has got to be better,as long as we stay under budget if one idea ends up a mistake then try again until either you get voted out of office by people who think someone else will work better. At least that is how a moderate Republic such as ours is supposed to work. Anything unnecessary should be cut, lobbyists and special interest groups should be ignored outside the inherent right of representation, and individual freedom as a whole should be ptomoted as it is the basic of our government.

damn…Homer I like it…don’t know for sure who you and 8ball are but we’re making progress…

You’re just pissed you’re not included…you’re a moron. Go back under the rock and diddle yourself until you go blind.

There is some real serious questions surrounding two of those endorsements so I will reserve judgement until Tuesday….We’ll see, I think there’s been enought talk, early voting is over and Tuesday will be it….
until the runoff…..

You guys, ha ha….. You won’t even admit when defeat is iminent. I heard Bardwell is looking foe help. Ha ha
March 2, 2008 at 3:59 pm
hey what happened to never say never…I support my candidate just like you do yours…what’s wrong with that? Endorsements this late in the game don’t secure anything…as I said at least two of those endorsements are iffy at best so…..we’ll see Tuesday…guess we’ll see who has the last laugh since you think it’s funny…

I ain’t fake, kiss my arse! Call me 972-979-1012
March 2, 2008 at 4:47 pm
Question, when all this is over, what are you guys going to bicker about?
March 5, 2008 at 1:13 pm
It is Johnny Brown’s wife that is going to be the problem if he makes the election. I live in their subdivision and I have seen her on more than one occasion in her black SUV, run people over, tailgate, speed, pass with not enough room to pass and drive like a Witch from Hell. If her husband is sherrif, then she will really be able to do this and get a away with it.
