Byron Walker, Ward 1 councilman, had a warrant issued for “felony fraud” out of Clay County, Texas, according to a news tip to The Ellis County Press today.
Ennis Police Chief John Erisman reportedly told Clay County authorities that Walker would turn himself in today.

Does it have something to do with those checksthe that had been cashed in clay county? Mr. Walker has been described as “shady” by several people that has been involved in dealings with him.

How many times has this guy been arrested? I am curious about the personal relationship between this guy and our police chief.

probably not a relationship with police chief, but doing what Howerton tells him to do. Howerton and Walker are the ones that are close.
