I sat in on a court hearing in the 378th District Court last Monday (Judge Al Scoggins) at the courthouse and I have this to say about former county judge Connie McGuire: “Firing squad.”
I’m not being paid to write this, so folks can take this as strictly an observational assessment. If I were in a court case, I would not want to be facing McGuire. It is like watching a firing squad…so anyone who needs a family law/divorce lawyer should hire her. In fact, this was the first female lawyer I had seen “in action” and I have to say that she has more balls than some male lawyers I’ve seen.
That’s pretty sad.

Yes she’s the one to hire if you want to win in Ellis County. She’s a former Ellis County judge who is very good friends with both judges along with vacationing with both. She only practices in Ellis County since that’s the only way she can win. “Good Old Boy” justices or should I say corruption in Ellis County at its best.
She’s more of a bully then anything. Wouldn’t you have balls if your good friends were presiding over your cases?
Would you not think there would be some bias considering her relationships with both judges if not subconsciously?

She will not come out of Ellis County because she know she will get her ass kicked. Dallas-Ft Worth attorneys are so much superior plus no judge will show her favortism. You probably right she might have balls but she is a joke in a federal court or any other Texas court
