Result: Williams won re-election with 75 percent of the vote, but the higher tax, more spending record was colorfully illustrated. When taking on an incumbent, the planning must begin months in advance, not the week before the election.

Result: Councilman Joe Gallo, after 600 of these postcards were mailed to voters, opted not to seek a second two-year term.

In a 10-year career in journalism writing for two newspapers, publishing a blog and interviewing close to 100 candidates for public office, the party-building process and the knowledge and skills needed to implement political strategies has been obtained for free.

That’s why I’m not only confident my ideas and strategies can win, I know they have been able to win.

Those who don’t take advantage of what they’ve got in this county will risk facing me on an opposing side. You don’t want me opposing you in an election. I have the skills, the knowledge, the training and the printing shops and graphic design capabilities of making elections and campaigns very bruising. Who’s side do you want me on? Yours? Or theirs?
